I mostly agree with you. The world is a village from the point of view of international ogres. In still Burma is still a village, coz not they r globlized but really left behind in 21 century. With the monopolised gov, ppl are leaving a small village and tend to join the bigger village called the outside world. There come out to be more talented n knowledged hungry & born-free without the shadow of our burma village rulers.
Then are we going to let this vicious circle of this monopolied ruler jus we excuse our self from running away? Hav we heard that "the evil that man do, lives after them..."? It is now 50 years and more that every generation born have been trained to live in fear in our village. This undoing of the evil has shadowed over us since last socialist gov and then to SLORC gov....until now. How can we achieve our own free will and our own goal when our village is still under the shadow of darkness preventing us from being even a fearless!!! I can still remember one nortorious old man saying that when the army shoot, it will not shoot in the sky, next time it shoots right to the targets(the ppl of its own).
So to become more globlised, we still have a long way to go.....
