One of the polytech had celebrated their ThinGyan Festival last week, I think.
Singapore Myanmar Live Stage Show had been held 26/03 at WTC with approx 3000 Myanmese ppl. Ringo sang "Taung Ban Par Yin" for home-sickers & Zaw Win Htut & group presented "Rock n Roll ThinGyan Song" in closing ceremony.
Other 3 polytech still have plan on ThinGyan Festival at their school in next week time.
Singapore Myanmar Buddhist Monestry will hold its traditional ThinGyan & Burmese New Year Festival in mid of apr.
Hey man, where is the spirit of Myanmar Water Festival in the club. Atleast I wanna have the breeze with PaTaukPan. In our old RIT days, there would be Ngu Wah Pan twe way nay pyi everywhere in the campus.
I still remember the one lovely day when I visited my long lost dearest at her ThaZin Saung b4 ThinGyan. The sun was setting near. The portico we were sitting full with flower of the season. I asked her a cup of water to make a great risk of showing my wish of pouring water to her as a symbol of love and care. She silently handed me a cup with a silent smile. Oh.. it was like just yesterday but ended up in such a stupid way that I was too shaken to present my tenderness and instead, I had drunk the whole cup of water into my shocked stomach....
If and only if, I could go back to the past...well, may be, I would have shared the cup of water half by half to each other as to fade off our thirst and lust of good old loveing day....
